Computer Lab set up at Palchok Secondary School and Yangrima Community School, Helambu

On October 2018, we got funding worth $4000 from Ivan and Alfredo (via gogetfunding). With this project, we facilitated both Palchok Secondary School and Yangrima School with a complete lab. Palchok school is a government-owned school with more than 200 students. There was no computer lab at all despite having a computer class as one of the subjects. Now, school is equipped with modern lab. Similarly, at Yangrima school, students no longer have to share a computer with fellow classmates during computer lab session. With the sum of money collected, Ivan and Alfredo arrived Nepal on October 2018. On the same day they arrived, we went to buy all the equipment needed for the installation. As we were already in contact with the local vendor, we collected every equipment needed.

We left for Helambu next morning. We arrived at Palchok Secondary School and planned for the installation next day with the teachers. At Palchok school, we installed 20 thin clients. Since there is no lab at the school, all the machines were installed in a classroom as a temporary lab.
